About TTA Press

The publisher is named after the magazine it launched in December 1993, The Third Alternative, which was renowned for its slipstream fiction. The Third Alternative eventually became known as Black Static. We published 100 issues of Interzone, Britain's longest running science fiction and fantasy magazine, now with a new publisher. TTA Novellas published longer works by some of TTA's best known and most admired contributors such as Nina Allan, Carole Johnstone, Simon Avery, Mike O'Driscoll, Georgina Bruce, and Malcolm Devlin. Standalone books include Mat Coward's Success…And How To Avoid It, Ray Nayler's debut novel American Graveyards, Andrew Humphrey's debut novel Alison, and Paul Meloy's much reprinted story collection Islington Crocodiles. We published thirteen volumes in the groundbreaking Crimewave series, and founded Storyville. Oh, and we did The Fix, that was fun.
