Black Static

New Horror Fiction BLACK STATIC ISSUE 71 OUT NOW!

BFS Open Night

25th Nov, 2009

Author: Peter Tennant

The British Fantasy Society is holding an Open Night on Friday the 4th of December, and the venue is The George public house at 213 Strand, London WC2R 1AP.

Festivities kick off at 19.30 and continue until 23.00.

A UK launch is planned for Hellbound Hearts, the anthology inspired by the work of Clive Barker and edited by Paul Kane and Marie O'Regan, and according to the communication received from the BFS there's 'a strong possibility some of the "original" cenobites will be on hand to oversee the event' (I'm not sure what that means exactly, or if I want to know, and does anyone else think that nowadays 'cenobites' sounds like the name of a breakfast bar?).

There'll also be a launch event for Rob Shearman's new book.

Click on the link below for further details, such as how to find the venue.
