Hello Mooch'ers,

Dr Silbury's Liquid Brainstem Band will make their debut in the world on June 21, which, cosmically enough, is the summer solstice.

The album will be available from ambientlive records:-

and later - possibly - as a download off t'Internet. The price from ambientlive will be a tenner - note that the album is a double CD (CDR technically); over two hours of space psych insanity!

For those of you who don't know the name, ambientlive is the operation of synth-er John Sherwood, a friend of mine who I've known for some time and who hangs out with the Brit-synth crowd.

His shadow on the wall seems so very

Section 1

(Jupiter) And as my engine burns, my heart beats like a drum.
(Jupiter) Orbiting fast and wide, the gee force makes me numb.
(Jupiter) Stranger in empty space, I see Europa's disk.
(Jupiter) Gravity my friend... turn. Rocket steady glare... burn.

(Jupiter) Falling into the hell, of Io's sulphur breath.
(Jupiter) Passing the deep red eye, of Jupiter and death.
(Jupiter) Stormy my passage by, Callisto Ganymede.
(Jupiter) Gravity my friend... turn. Rocket engine red... burn.

(Jupiter) Icy below me now, Europa pale and cracked.
(Jupiter) Touching down on the ice, my lander feet are stacked.
(Jupiter) Man in a vacuum suit, an alien out here.
(Jupiter) Cut into the ice... hoping. Ocean far below... whisp'ring.

(Jupiter) Software don't leave me now, the sun is out of sight.
(Jupiter) Face to the lowest deeps, no Jupiter no light.
(Jupiter) Break through the ice at last, my ship now submarine.
(Jupiter) Cut into the ice... hoping. Ocean all around... whisp'ring.
Seeing... creatures.
