Here's a job that would suit a CW reader, I'd have thought!

Applications are invited for the post of Director of The Crime Writers’ Association

The role will include:

•Developing the activities of the CWA and its membership
•Organizing committee meetings, awards ceremonies and social gatherings
•Overseeing the administration of the Dagger literary prizes
•Negotiating on behalf of the CWA with sponsors
•Coordinating the work of the Committee
•General administration, correspondence and responding to enquiries.
The Director, who will provide his or her services on a self-employed basis, will report to the Committee, and many of these tasks will be undertaken with Committee members.

It is expected that the work will take the equivalent of two days per week. The Director will work from home, but should be available to attend meetings in London. The Director will be paid a fee for his or her services at the rate of £7,500 per year.
