After all this time, I didn't think director George Miller had any more 'road warrior' stuff left in him, but this mythic sequel/ epic reboot effort - with Tom (Bane) Hardy as Max - looks quite amazing.

I have fond memories of the second movie, and wrote about it on Facebook recently recalling when a bunch of us went to the local cinema to see it, and while we were queuing to get in, two guys ran out of the cinema, jumped the little fence and got into their car, one of them sliding over the bonnet first. Revved up like crazy and droze down the road to the traffic lights and came to a screching halt and we went "What the hell?" and after seeing the movie we came out of the cinema and wanted to drive through buses, billboards, anything!

Strangely, years later, we can still quote lines like: "Never seen a man beat the snake before" and "That's dishonest. Low"
