And now about a year later comes Darkness and Light: Exploring the Gothic an exhibition in Manchester's Victorian Gothic John Rylands Library. It will be gone by Eastercon 2016 but if you have time in Manchester before Dec 20 it looks worth a visit. The British Library 'did' the Gothic last year but this looks different and the building dates back to the 1890's. So the exhibition should fit in very well.
"Alongside the exhibition, experience a ghostly Gothic tour of the Library or come along to screenings of classic Gothic films, including FW Murnau’s Nosferatu, in the striking Historic Reading Room."

I went to the Darkness and Light: Exploring the Gothic an exhibition in Manchester's Victorian Gothic John Rylands Library today and it is very small. Beautiful building, well worth a look but the exhibition does not really justify a 200 mile trek unless you have other reasons for that journey. It is not at all like the, relatively, recent British Library Exhibition.
