The third year of Edge-Lit is on the calendar for 19 July.

Derby's annual genre fiction extravaganza returns for a third installment in 2014, once again featuring some of the finest in UK writing talent. Expect a great range of panels, workshops, readings and much more on the day, including the brain-taxing Edge-Lit Quiz, the near-legendary Edge-Lit raffle and a special science-fiction and fantasy instalment of the HOW TO WRITE BADLY WELL comedy show. EDGE-LIT 3 is the ideal day out for anyone with an interest in reading or writing in the fields of science-fiction, fantasy and horror.
GUESTS OF HONOUR FOR 2014:
JOE ABERCROMBIE, acclaimed fantasy author of the First Law series
CHARLES STROSS, multiple-award winning SF, fantasy and horror author

TTA Press should be there with enough magazines and books to sink a battleship, or at least my back.

I'll be attending this as well, hopefully running a writing workshop as I did last year.

I shall be there doing some fencing. Sort of. Fran Terminiello and I shall apparently be showing fantasy authors how it's done. (For me, this will mean getting stabbed and cut repeatedly.)
