T3A SPACE

The TTA Press website

It’s going to be a busy time at TTA Towers next week, with the arrival in quick succession of Interzone 218, Crimewave 10: Now You See Me, and Paul Meloy’s Islington Crocodiles. Subscriber, contributor and pre-ordered copies will be despatched immediately, unless of course you’ve already let us know that you want your copy handed over at FantasyCon (19–21 September).

More details of these three publications follow.

Btw, if you’re waiting eagerly the podcast’s Transmission 5 (Bury the Carnival by Simon Avery from Black Static 1, read by the author), there is a technical glitch and it will appear shortly. A fortnight later is the CWA Dagger Award winning Prussian Snowdrops by Marion Arnott (from Crimewave) and a fortnight after that Greg Egan’s Crystal Nights (from Interzone).

As Electronic Editions Editor for TTA Press, it is with great pleasure that I introduce Transmissions From Beyond: The TTA Press Podcast.

Transmissions From Beyond is the first podcast in the world by a major magazine publisher, offering short stories from the pages of its magazines in the following genres: science fiction & fantasy, horror, and crime. These come from Interzone, Black Static, and Crimewave both past and present.

The premiere of our podcast on Monday, 4 August 2008, offers three Transmissions. There’s one from each of our magazines. We lead off with a story from Interzone 212 called “The Algorithm” by Tim Akers, read by John Berlyne.

There’s also a brand new forum for the podcast where you can discuss the stories and anything you’d like to say about our podcasts.

So what are you waiting for?  Grab your headphones and head over to Transmissions From Beyond.
