Hi,
I'm one of the Flashing Sword authors. I just wanted to say thank for you giving such a detailed review of the magazine. It was a rare treat to see one my stories discussed somewhere.
Thanks,

It seemed like a well-balanced review. Congrats to the reviewer, all the authors and the publishers. _________________ Lyn from ResAliens Zine and ResAliens Blog |

| Yes, it is a very thorough and balanced review, I agree. My hat's off to Chris Butler, another reviewer at The Fix who has offered yet more reasons for genre readers to check out the return of this zine and the unvieling of its companion press. |

I think Chris's review was excellent and useful to the authors. He has a sharp eye for story problems and assessing a story as the sum of its parts - and he says what he thinks, but gently. And if he says a story is great, that makes me want to seek it out - which is what I will do.
Chris is also a fine novelist and short story writer and has been published in Asimov's, Interzone and elsewhere. Check out his website
