"We all have a dark side". Andrew Humphrey reads an excerpt from his debut novel, Alison, from TTA Press.

Read by the author. Originally published in by TTA in February 2008. Please feel free to comment on this story and its production.

You can still buy this from the TTA shop at £9.99 and as an E book from Fictionwise.

Thanks very much, Roy. And thanks to Pete Bullock and my friend Paul Robinson for all their help.

I suppose i'd better have a listen to my lovely Norfolk monotone in a bit!

I've just listened to your lovely Norfolk monotone! :)

It was always one of the most shocking, deeply moving opening chapters I've ever read. Now it's one of the most shocking, deeply moving opening chapters I've ever heard. The book is a real page turner, read it in one sitting, you can't help it -- and magically it's exactly the same in audio: four mesmerising chapters went by in a blink.

Great production, as always. The music, the sound effects, the intros, the info, the extract from the next Transmission... Can't wait!

Thanks, Andy, that's very kind.

Hope all's well with you and we can catch up soon.

Agree about the production, it's excellent - well done, Pete.

Don't think i'll ever feel comfortable listening to my own voice though!
