From Robert Mammone, an extremely bad trip and some unsettling imagery on Day 18 with "Into the Green". The jungle juice will get you.

Day 19 and Guy Anthony De Marco gives us a cunning tale of Victorian murder and mayhem, with shades of the ever inventive Dr Phibes on "The First Day of Christmas". Good stuff.

Ed Fortune's "Remember, Remember" on Day 20 has a great set up and the pay off brought a big cheesy grin to my face, but there's also a serious point being made here.

Day 21 and Priya Sharma takes us aboard "The Dark Ark", the story giving us a delicious variation on a theme, with a chilling end note, the kind of thing that will give UKIP supporters a sleepless night or two.

Day 22 and some "Rare Treats" from Aliya Whiteley, taking the idea of cross cultural fertilisation a little too far in some respects. Delightfully written and with a neat twist at the end.

The penultimate day and a delightful tale from Mark Gorton with "Toys Will Be Toys", as poor Vanessa learns the Christmas spirit the hard way.

Unfortunately we don't have a writer for tomorrow, so...

Day 24 - Krampus
