Received mine today, and it felt strange for a moment, the new thickness, but I actually prefer it - makes it seem more robust.
Looks beautiful inside as usual. Just a quick flick but all seems ok, no blurring drama!

Arrived in Norfolk this morning, along with Interzone #242.
Took both of them out of their bags and had a quick sniff. I do think Black Static has the nicer bouquet.

Priya, I'm easily amused The smell of the magazine used to be a big cause of concern to Andy, though I don't think he's mentioned it recently

Another great batch of stories with Ray Cluley just edging out James Cooper as my favourite of the issue.
The non-fiction elements were as always superb, if a little heartbreaking with the T.B.C on Mr Volk's column.

Not seen season 2 yet (waiting for DVD), but I enjoyed Mike's review of GOT.

Both IZ and Black Static arrived in Edinburgh, Friday and Saturday. My tiny flat thanks you for the size reduction as my previous issues are spilling out of my bookcase!

Nice to see the addition of the issue number on the spine. A small detail but looks better on the shelf

FRANCE - Arrived today in its clear plastic bag!! No problems of bended corners or other things!! (French postal services have not a good reputation for delivering the magazines like they... My poor 2000 AD Prog is still with severe traumas...) The cover of this new BS is excellently horrific!!! This format is really the best one: more practicable, easy to have in a hand, stand well into my shelves. And in the future, more pages could be easily added. Perfect!!! I have not noted a difference about the thickness of the cover. If it's much thicker and that the postal fees stay the same, it's an excellent choice. If, in contrary, it costs more to ship the magazine, I think that a majority of IZ/BS readers are ready to pay higher cover price for such quality magazines. I will open the bag of my preciouuuuuuuuussssss tonight: I will have an excellent moment of pure quality readings!!! And what about this smell of Guinness??? I want a fresh one!!!! Bartender!!!! Andy!!!! Come here!!! It's Happy Hour!!! Guinness for all!!!
