Got my copy too. I've mixed feelings about the new format. Can't lay it flat open to read at work anymore and wondering whether artwork spanning two pages will have the same space to breathe. Having said that, it's probably more 'pick-up-able' for bookstore copies and sits much better on the shelf. Regardless of the format, the production is still stellar, of course

Only dipped my toe in so far, but Stephen Volk's column this month was brilliant. An incisive much-needed commentary on characterisation.

Finished Nina Allan's 'Sunshine'. I thought it was quite brilliant. One of her best so far. A great response to typical vampire fiction.

My copy landed this morning along with Interzone. It feels so tiny compared to the magazine..lol Had a wee glance through and although it feels comfortable to hold, I do kinda miss the colour! Still has the same smell though.. Can't wait to get stuck in later today!!

Very much like the new format (fits better onto my bookshelves!) with Mr Cluley taking the story honours this time round. He really is a great whiter - sorry, writer...

New formula of Black Static well received today in France!!! I really like the new format, it is much more practicable to put into my shelves. And I do not miss the colours. And it smells fine!!! Now, I am waiting Interzone...

Received my copy in Atlanta USA yesterday. I think I'm already entirely sold on the new format/look. Now for the stories...

Arrived today in SW France. New format is fine - I particularly like the more robust cover - but best of all THE FLY IS BACK Dennis

I've been trying to send PMs and replies to PMs but they just sit in my outbox instead of going to my sent box - is anyone else having problems? Or are my messages getting through after all?

Well. The new format is certainly beautiful. And the stories were up to the same impeccable standard. Well done all, I say!

And to end with "Fin" made me want to punch the air in triumph! Still got one story to read, so will post a full review here when I'm done.
