It looks absolutely gorgeous - can't wait.
I suspect Tarsem Singh might do more interesting things with the story, though, in Mirror Mirror - really excited to see a version by the same guy who made The Cell.

I saw Mirror. Mirror. It was Ok but it finished with Snow White doing a Bollywood song and dance number while the credits ran and, for me, that cut the ground away from under the film.

Oh my.
Well, I guess 'interesting' isn't always a good thing!

Just watched both trailers, and - what was I thinking?! Snow White and the Huntsman looks SO much better...

Saw the trail, good bits and many not so good. Lots of slashing with seemingly magic swords.

Saw the film a couple of days ago - really good. It is basically archetypes, bad mothers and sword-fights, but it is very good, and totally involving. Loved it.

My other half saw it yesterday and enjoyed it too. So now I get to go and see it on my own like Billy-no-mates. I've a feeling I'll want the big screen for it rather than waiting for DVD.

Saw this. Ok but too much CGI I felt.

Surprised, Roy. I though that side of the film was pretty tame. Charlize Theron was excellent, I thought.

All that shattering into birds, or insects, or shards at the slice of a sword etc was far too much for me. Acting was fine. Enjoyed the movie but wouldn't want to watch it again.

I still haven't seen Snow White and the Huntsman - arrgh!! - but caught Mirror, Mirror last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's beautiful visually - loved the forest and the magical hut in the lake sets.
The Bollywood thing at the end was on the zany side, but kind of fun!
