Human Nature, my second compilation of previously published SF stories, is now available on Kindle (and the free Kindle emulator apps, e.g. for iPad, iPhone, PC, Android...). Price £0.77 or thereabouts, from: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Human-Nature-ebook/dp/B007QTRAGU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1333615199&sr=8-2. Also available from the other Amazon tributaries.

The three short-short stories reprinted in Human Nature were originally published in Nature and Nature Physics, in the 'Futures' column, during 2008-2010.

Artwork is by Tony Hughes.

Blood Bound Books have put up an exclusive free prologue to my novella 'Feeding Ambition' (the world's first, and possibly last, comedy-horror-superhero-satire) on their website. Have a gander if the mood so takes you at http://bloodboundbooks.net/bloodboundbooks/?page_id=105
The book itself is available in both print and kindle editions at Amazon.com ($7.99/$1.22), Amazon.co.uk (£5.04/77p), etc.
The kindle edition is super-cheap anyway, but if anyone out there has any blogs and would like a copy for free to review, please send me a message - thanks.

Cover by Tony Hughes.

The English Dead was originally published in issue 36 of Hub.

If you like SF mysteries with a strong historical element, this might well be the story for you.

Good to read your thoughts on the poems in the latest BFS Journal, they rarely get a mention in other reviews.

Pleased to discover today a rare review of 'Nemonymous Night' posted early April:
http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/292575122

"One of the most horrifying images was that, at the centre of the earth, is a huge face which oozes blood from every pustule and pore and says ‘For once this is no dream – this is fucking real – so deal with it!’"

"Probably the best piece of science fiction I've read so far this year" - Lavie Tidhar on Adrift on the Sea of Rains, a hard sf novella about a group of Cold War astronauts stranded on the Moon. Available here at a very competitive price. See what people have been saying about it here.

And here's an article I wrote on Keith Brooke's blog about the book, and my reasons for publishing it myself.

I'm really pleased to say my steampunk short story 'Il Risorgimento' is one of the ten chosen for the upcoming anthology 'A Clockwork Orchard: Rivets and Rain' by MayDecember Publications - http://maydecemberpublications.com/
