And now Joel Lane has a story showing in the Latest Acceptances. Depending on who gets published in #28 we could have three writers tied on six credits apiece.
It's sooooooooo exciting.

Well, Andy has gone public on Facebook with the details of Black Static #28, and our leader board now looks like this:-
Daniel Kaysen - 8
Ray Cluley - 6
Carole Johnstone - 6
Joel Lane - 6
James Cooper - 5
Tim Casson - 4
Tim Lees - 4
Alison J. Littlewood - 4
Gary McMahon - 4
Steve Rasnic Tem - 4
Hard not to think that everything is slipping away from Ray - Daniel has put clear water between them, and Carole and Joel have closed the gap and are poised to leap over him

I have just checked latest acceptances, and it seems we are awash with Cluleys. Well, two of them, which is enough to see Ray pull level with Daniel Kaysen.
Carole and Joel, you need to write more, or you'll be eating Mr C's dust.

'Sunshine' by Nina Allan...
Looking forward to this. Just finished reading Nina's collection 'The Silver Wind' and was completely blown away by it.
If you have a genuine interest in the best writing the small press has to offer you really need to read this book. Nina's work is complex, devastating, urgent.
Just thought I'd mention it...
J.
PS. Looking forward to Ray's stories, too. 'Beachcombing' and 'Pins and Needles' were two of the best stories to appear in BS. Very memorable...

Thanks for keeping the pressure on, Pete - not that I'm at all taking this too seriously. Honest, I'm not competitive. It's not what I feed them, Ali - I had a shaman carve 'go faster' runes on their hooves. Thanks James! Glad you liked them.

And now there are three Cluley stories showing in acceptances, enough to take Ray to the top of the leader board

There doesn't seem to be an emoticon for sweaty exhaustion, so I'll go with red-faced fatigue. Thanks Pete, it was that "slipping away from Ray" comment a few entries earlier that motivated me Think I'll rest for a bit now.
