The October-November issue is slightly late owing to Pete's catastrophic computer breakdown, which meant he had to (re)write and email the whole of his Case Notes an hour at a time at his local library. It was a magnificent effort. Thanks Pete!
The issue should arrive at TTA Towers any day now, and it'll be mailed out straight away.
Subscribers: Please check the insert in issue 24 for a subscription reminder and renew quickly if necessary, so we can include your copy in the main mailing. Copies sent outside of the main mailings cost three times as much to post. Many thanks.
You can find details of the issue on the Black Static > Current Issue page, along with spreads, opening paragraphs, and links.
We hope you enjoy this issue and look forward to reading your comments here.

In fact they have just arrived, unexpectedly. We usually get a very quick turnaround, but that was lightning quick!

Hurray! And hurray for Pete - I don't have the internet at home yet and I know how awful it is trying to use the computers at the library for a limited time. It's too quiet without him about the forum, so I hope the computer heals up soon...

Just received BS #25 in the last hour and, despite my photo on the front, found its arrival one of welcome metaphysical repose despite the excitement I had prior to its arrival.
Thanks to Andy - and to Pete (who must have crossed many difficult electronic hurdles to complete the Case Notes project this time) for conducting the interview and reviewing Weirdtongue, Nemonymous Night and the HA of HA.
I shall shortly real-time review this issue's fiction, as I often do with BS fiction.

Another great issue. My favourite piece was 'Best. Summer. Ever' by Nathaniel Tapley, closely followed by 'The Holy Spear' by Barbara A. Barnett, but I really enjoyed all the stories - excellent stuff!
