Hi all,

I don't know if it's appropriate or not to post here, so please remove this if not.

I've been a long time IZ reader (now of the e type) and I've also done a few podcasts for TTA Press, so I feel an affinity with IZ, perhaps moreso because I'm British and I'm on the other side of the world as well (Japan).

Anyway, I wanted to swing by and announce that I've been accepted into this years Clarion West workshop:) I'm obviously thrilled, and I'm going to get to meet such luminaries as Nancy Kress and Charles Stross.

I also wanted to say that I had a great critique of the story that I sent from TTAs very own Pete Bullock, so thanks again, Pete. Apologies if saying thanks publicly makes you blush:)

Cheers,

David

Thank you.

Really enjoying Paul Park's "If Lions Could Speak" right now (he's one of the teachers), and it's good to see that a few of the stories within were first published in Interzone.

Absolutely. I'm already in training :D

I'm not as young as I was 20 years ago, so I'm going into it with a degree of purpose, and the workshop is part of my wider plans. I think I know what I want to get out of it, but I'm also very open to discovering that what I think I need might not be what I actually need.
