George Berger alerted me to a very interesting Podcast discussion of Asimovs' marketing, PR and its print and electronic sales here.

They seem to be doing well on Kindle, 10% of all sales if I heard right and growing nicely. Print subscriptions down 100 odd units last year but Kindle more than made up and they aim to be on other e book sites Eg Sony soon.

Sheila Williams said Asimovs is number 257 in Kindle sales charts. That may be the recent issue or all years issues combined.

The podcast is 97 minutes long and I've heard the first hour so far.

Continuing from above; after more than an hour Interzone is mentioned.
There is also some talk of Weird Tales getting 500 submissions a week, though e mail subs no doubt help in that.

Asimovs gets 100 to 200 per week. It also has 17k subscribers.
