Jen Harwood (The Faces of My Friends, IZ 214) is excited by the prospect that Easons in O'Connell St., Dublin have told her that they will stock Black Static. We aren't sure which issue they will start with but I have asked her to let me know when it arrives.

For those of you living in or near England's Northwest around June 25 and 26 weekend there will be readings and performances at this year's Manchester Independent Publishers' Book Market in St Ann’s Square central Manchester. Among the Saturday readers will be TTA regulars Nick Royle, Conrad Williams, Tim Lees; with apologies to any whose names I didn't recognise in the list.
TTA will be there with a stall full of Interzones, Black Statics, etc
Round of 16 match 1C v 2D which could feature England is on at 8:30 that evening, as I read the FIFA timetable, so the market will have closed by then.

Eric Gregory found Interzone at his local Barnes & Noble in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Jason Sanford sees it in Barnes & Noble Columbus, Ohio.
I was told one the small newsagents in, or near, Manchester's (UK) Arndale Centre now stock IZ and Black Static so I'll explore next time I'm nearby. If you come accross it please let me know.

Was running errands today and found myself next to a Barnes & Noble, so I ducked in to see if they had IZ or BS. Lo and behold, there were three copies of IZ #228 at the Barnes & Noble in Athens, Georgia, USA.

Good news Marc.
Plus
I'm told Interzone will be on sale in Easons, the Irish equivalent of WHSmith but obviously much better, from issue 230 (September) as will Black Static from issue 19. (October)

I think it's a travesty that WH Smith don't sell IZ and BS.

They will stock it on their shelves if we pay them to. They do sell them but only if a customers orders them.

Peter Kerans tells us "that IZ and BS seem to be popping up in suburban newsagents (finally) around Sydney; previously I had to go to a specialist bookshop in the inner city. "
"The newsagents don\'t seem to know where to put them; they\'re mostly cheek by jowl with magazines like Computer Music! "
Also Francis Murphy reported Interzone is on sale at the Zona Rosa Barnes and Noble (located in the Northland of Kansas City) but was not sure if it was on sale at the more central Plaza Branch

Jason Sanford explains via Twitter that in or near Columbus Ohio Barnes & Noble Easton carries Black Static. B&N Polaris and B&N Pickerington carry IZ. Now if you are in that area buy one if you don't subscribe. Only $7.50 according to Jason.

Patricia Feio on FB says it's hard to buy Black Static in Portugal. The only shop in Lisbon; Temas in Av. da Liberdade, 9 Loja 1 and Centro Colombo Loja 2003 (by the cinema) Benfica that has it sells it for about €9.00. They sell Interzone for €7.20! They say both magazines have different distributors.
"Tema" specializes in magazines but tend to be expensive and were less than polite when Patricia was critical of Black Static's price. Apparently Black Static comes via the USA!
"Leya na Barata" bookstore in Avenida de Roma Lisbon sells IZ but not BS.
There seem to be 2 Tema shops about a 15 minute drive apart. Not sure if both have both magazines.
