The new website will go live tomorrow, Monday 9th March. It'll go dark here for the short while that takes place, but I'm sure you'll survive -- and the shop will still be working if you want to take out or renew a subscription! ;)

This forum will look slightly different when we do return -- and will be updated again some time in the near future.

The shop will be the same old shop, but that will be replaced in the second phase of this redevelopment.

The new website should have all the basic content, and a little bit more, but there's still plenty to add, including lots of new site-specific features as we go along.

Many thanks to Paul Drummond, who designed and built the site, and had to contend with me ("I want this big robot stomping across the screen firing lasers"). Some of you will know Paul from his illustrations and cover art for Interzone. If you follow the link above not only will you get a sneak preview of the new TTA website but you'll realise that Paul is also a shit-hot web developer.

The new site is online now. Hopefully everything is working correctly, but I'll be keeping an eye on things for the next few days. I've tried to replicate as much of the URL structure from the old site as possible, but so much of the content has changed I can guarantee old bookmarks probably won't work. The new site navigation should help people find their way around though. The site can be thought of as four mini-sites, plus related information. There are separate sections for the TTA Press publications, each with a unique address:

Interzone - ttapress.com/interzone/
Black Static - ttapress.com/blackstatic/
Crimewave - ttapress.com/crimewave/
Books - ttapress.com/books/

Within each section you'll find news items, current and back issues, contributor information, free stories, reviews and more. Each section has its own news feed (RSS) you can subscribe to.

There's a contact section you can use to get in touch with TTA Press. You can also change your subscription address and keep up to date via Twitter:

ttapress.com/contact/

The forum has been given a quick tidy up, but is otherwise unchanged. We hope to upgrade it in the next phase of development.

The site is standards-based and should work on as many browsers and devices as possible. (If you're lucky enough to have an iPhone or iPod Touch give it a go on that.)

I hope you like the new site and find it useful.

Agreed, it looks really fabulous. I'll try surfing from my ipod later tonight.

I'm glad you like the new site. Aliette, the main site should look good on your iPod, but this forum hasn't been updated for multiple device support yet.

Congrats on having a smooth changeover, guys. Sometimes things like this can blow up in your face but this has worked and looks fine.
Best,
Bob :D

Paul--it definitely looks great on my ipod as well. The forums are still the same, but I've had a lot of practise surfing those :D

The main site should work on any decent mobile device. However I can't test every phone and handheld out there, so results may vary.

The default browser on a lot of phones and handhelds is terrible, but you may be able to install Opera Mini. This will improve browsing on a small screen. There's also Opera Mobile for Windows devices. This is still in beta testing but has to be better than Internet Explorer.
