IZ 240 Amazon now in fact, a few hours early but no 'looking inside' for some reason. Might be a little soon to buy, doesn't look quite right yet.

Uploaded IZ 237 to Amazon. It will be 12 hours before it goes live. Sometime after 8 am BST. When I upload a file to Amazon I can preview it but it never looks the same as when it goes 'live'. No doubt I'm doing something wrong but I separated the scenes in Jim's Digital Rights with * * * * *. In the preview all the **s have disappeared, lots of upper case changes to lower case and centre alignment changes to left. So when it goes live some of these faults will disappear, hopefully all of them. I'll then upload a new version if necessary.

Thanks, Roy. I'll grab it and have a look. It was a bit of a risk using something like a screenplay layout - actually quite a late decision. Screenplays are always in fixed-point Courier 12. You would have had fun with that!

It looks fine!
My only suggestion would be to force a page-break between stories - it's a bit odd having them start at some arbitrary point on the page.

I have made some alterations Jim so I think you can just re download without any charge when it goes live in 12 hours. Forcing pagebreaks is very hard. I thought the headers would do that but that seems to be the Smashwords method. 'All Caps' in MSWord come out lower case in Amazon. I have got to go through the text changing all 'All Caps' to Upper Case. I haven't found a 'style' that enables that to be automatic.
I'll try an MSword pagebreak next time in Amazon but that means another difference between Amazon files and Smashwords. I need to experiment and reread FAQs.

I totally understand. Things are getting more and more fragmented - try developing programs that will work on Mac, PC, iOS, and Android! Or HTML5, where each browser supports a different set of audio or video formats. It's a pig.

Yes I can force pagebreaks in Amazon. Tested it, seemed to work in the test file but I'll recheck the file when it goes live.

Great stuff, Roy. Let me know when it's up and I'll reload and check.
Many of us write stories set in a future where technology works effortlessly. Yeah, right!

The expriment forced a pagebreak but the cover has disappeared so hold those horses a little longer. Roy

The cover 'reappeared', damy, and so I've uploaded a new version but it won't go live for 12/24 hours.
