Congratulations to Interzone for winning the Best Magazine/Periodical Award and to Ray Cluley for winning the Best Short Story Award with "Shark! Shark!" from Black Static 29.

It was a great event, and so pleasing to see TTA and Ray get their awards.

Andy's sixth British Fantasy Award, I think, and he's now won with three different magazines (The Third Alternative, Black Static and Interzone), which is really something.

Fantastic, I have lots of pictures of Ray directing the other award winners at the mass photoshoot, and also a couple of me holding Interzone's award. Don't tell Andy that he's got a fake and I've got the real one!

I picked up the Interzone award for Andy we decided to display it at Satellite 4 in Glasgow and Loncon 3 where it should be on display in the dealer's room on the TTA Press stand. (Assuming I actually remember to take it.)

Doh! Sorry, I'm getting my Ray's and Roy's mixed up, I actually have lots of pictures of Roy with the award in front of all the other award winners.

Wondered what you meant - I was too stunned to do much of anything but stare around at everything going on! :D

Thanks for the congrats folks.

Roy deserves to get his photo in IZ, I think.

The mighty TTA Press publicity machine has been impressively active again and this time has a multifaceted triumph to celebrate as 2013 British Fantasy Award Short Story winner Ray Cluley is interviewed by Katie Martin on Radio Solent. You can listen again for the next 7 days (to 6 Dec) via http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01ksjmz. It's a 3 hour stint for Katie so Ray's few minutes of media celebrity start after 2hr 35 minutes and finish about 15 minutes later and a few of those minutes comprise music and New Forest event announcements to skip if you don't live in Hampshire.

Multifaceted you may ask – well journalist Ruth Meech has been very busy so try Googling ("Shark! Shark!" meech Cluley award weymouth) and search then "repeat the search with the omitted results included". Alternatively try this
Note the length and breadth of those URL's - 27 Google pages (336) of them including a 'national archive' and a 'celebrity-lifestyle-daily'. Well done Ms Ruth Meech.
