Are morphing Londons the zeitgeist?
Stephen Palmer has it hairy and Tony Ballantyne has it dreamy in new novel due from Solaris, 'Dream London', with an extract.
"in Dream London the city changes a little every night and the people change a little every day."
Tony will be at a signing session at Waterstones, Oldham on 19 Oct from noon. Waterstones, The Spindles, Oldham, OL1 1HD

And Victoria, V H, Leslie has won the Lightship First Chapter Prize 2013 plus Joel Lane won the World Fantasy Award 2013 for best collection with 'Where Furnaces Burn', (PS Publishing). So November was not such a bad month for TTA Press and some of the authors it nurtured, at least in terms of recognition by our peers.

The mighty TTA Press publicity machine has been impressively active again and this time has a multifaceted triumph to celebrate as 2013 British Fantasy Award Short Story winner Ray Cluley is interviewed by Katie Martin on Radio Solent. You can listen again for the next 7 days (to 6 Dec) via http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01ksjmz. It's a 3 hour stint for Katie so Ray's few minutes of media celebrity start after 2hr 35 minutes and finish about 15 minutes later and a few of those minutes comprise music and New Forest event announcements to skip if you don't live in Hampshire.

Multifaceted you may ask – well journalist Ruth Meech has been very busy so try this
Note the length and breadth of those URL's - 27 Google pages (336) of them including a 'national archive' and a 'celebrity-lifestyle-daily'. Well done Ms Ruth Meech.

Has anyone seen any stories by Daniel Kaysen in any magazines or anthologies recently? His last update on his website is coming up for two years old.

Richard Calder first appeared in IZ in 1989 and has had 15 stories published in IZ since then. Now there is an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign to get his "re-imagined cult cyberpunk novel Dead Girls" published as a 208 page full-colour graphic novel with internals from Filipino mangaka Leonardo M Giron and cover by Jim Burns.

Dominic Green, who has an extensive Interzone pedigree, has a new novel, WARLORDS OF LLANTATIS, out on Kindle.

Quote:
WARLORDS OF LLANTATIS's graphics, gameplay, and immersive three-dimensional virtual reality experience took the online role playing gaming world by storm when it was first released - but it was first released over fifteen years ago. Now it's a haunt for the nostalgic and unfashionable. Cyrus Baggett and Raj Rengarajulu have been pretending to be Smelrond of Quimnimbriel and Mordaxxe, Pwner of Noobs since college. Now they're old, married, and wanted by most of the crowned heads, secret police organisations and demonic familiars of the game universe. They are considering growing out of this thing - at least, until they meet the Character With No Name. The Character's player is living in one room, which he has never left and appears to be being held in against his will. He doesn't know where in the world the room is; he doesn't even know his own name. The only way of finding out more about him is through playing Warlords of Llantatis, and that can only happen if Mordaxxe and Smelrond can keep him alive for long enough to talk - and if they can stay alive themselves, with Beëlzebelle and the Munchkins, Wizard Sparklebeard and Titanowang Lord of Fertility at large in the same universe.
