Go the Meikle! And a graphic story too, sounds great.

Don't think I'm goign to make it this year :( Nothing of a suitable length put up on the site this year and no ideas that will fit... I'll just have to enjoy reading everyone else's ;)

Oh dear,
I can't contribute this year
unless my recent submission here
gets their judges' nod to appear
on the voters' shortlist
but before 20 December that won't be clear.

Roy, let me be perfectly sincere
And make it totally clear
I'm sorry you might not appear
In our calendar this year.
Your absence will feel queer,
But, perhaps it's too early for despair
As those judges might play fair
And in advent fame, let you share.

Meanwhile:-

Off to a flying start with William Meikle's "Lacunae" - good set-up, sound delivery and a nasty twist at the end =D>

I've had the news
Quantum Shorts rejected
my story
because it rhymes
they says its poetry and
therefore ineligible
me? poetry!
I should be flattered
but now no advent entry
I hope you all find
this disappointing
but not enough to spoil
your Christmas.

Sad news Roy. Those judges have missed a trick.

Apologies for the daft question, in case I am missing something very obvious, but is there a link somewhere to today's story and the stories from the previous two days?

Thanks

Ian

Yep, they're on the main part of the website, as in previous years:-

http://ttapress.com/interzone/

Click the link for the individual day and then scroll to the bottom for a link to the story.

Sad, bitter take on 'modern romance' and alienation from Steven J. Dines with "House of Cards" on Day 2, juxtaposing global meltdown with personal amorality/hedonism.
