Mike we shall expect a story in which snow is Santa's dandruff.
We're up and running folks, with a story from Ray, so lay on Macduff and don't spare the reindeers.

Excellent story by Ray, so sad amd emotive. I'm worried now that mine will seem frivilous by comparison

So how many different words do Inuits have for dandruff, Pete?

Do your own research Mike
And I suspect it's when they put adjectives in front of them that things get really tricky.

I tried to leave comments on Ray's site but had a few technical problems... (They'll either appear twice or not at all...)
Anyway, just in case they have been lost in the virtual ether, I thought it was an excellent story, sad and sentimental on the surface but actually quite dark at its heart. Loved the title too.

Great timing with the Leslie story given that I had to scrape the ice off my car this morning. Really liked this one too, very atmospheric and cleverly hinting at the bigger story surrounding it.

Our next four will be:-
5th - Daniel Kaysen
6th - Alison Littlewood
7th - Bob Lock
8th - Jo Thomas
Still quite a few places up for grabs.

Ray Cluley's 'Turtledove': bittersweet, touching and achingly sad. Quite exceptional.

We're now covered up to the 13th, so eleven more good men/women and true are needed.
