Another fan of Christmas Blues here, a very enjoyable story.

And a belated "I enjoyed 'The Gift'" as well.

Isn't Christmas brilliant.

Gary McMahon's story was a fantastic find, Pete. Dead Santa - classic. "...and his face was white as snow."

And what a bunch of ungrateful so and so's in Mike Alexander's Christmas blues.

Thanks to gileadslostson, Pete and Categardner for their kind comments - and thanks to everyone else who read my story. :)

Once more I need to catch up - I've been away at a festival (yes, in December) so am behind again...

P.S. Pete - I did indeed review for The Fix for a while, and I always bring the beer!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

I've been enjoying reading everyone's stories (though I think I still have a few of the earliest ones to catch up on). Thanks Pete - the Advent calendar was a great idea!

Schedule for next four days:-

19th - Jude-Marie Green
20th - Beth Cato
21st - Nathaniel Tapley
22nd - L. R. Bonehill

After that, I'm out of contributors, so unless someone gets in contact toot sweet I'll google up some stuff myself for the 23rd and 24th.

A lot of people have been sending me links to two pieces, so I thought for Christmas Day rather than letting any one person have the mic, I'd post a plethora of links to these second choices.

If anyone who has already contributed, but only sent me one link, would like to have a piece included on Christmas Day then mail another link to whitenoise@ttapress.com and I'll get it sorted.

Only those who have contributed already (or are listed) though.

Indeed. And I must try to use the expression "demon appendage" more often. :D
