Just arrived in a still very snowy Carluke, waiting behind the door as snug as a bug in a plastic wrapper, next to...(to be continued over at the Interzone pages).

Always nice to come in from work to a nice new Black Static sitting there! That's mine unwrapped now :)

Whoa, bit of a continual loop there Ian...

Arrived in Edinburgh today with Interzone. Looking great. Is Flux coming out separately? I thought it would be in with the two zines?

Carole, you escaped!

I'm still here and more of the same old same old. Had another zombie outbreak recently and then there was that awful business involving the neds defacing the Christmas artwork around the tree in the market that was done by the kids from the special needs school. Boy, did they regret doing that, at least, I think they did. Two of the neds have never been found and they switched off the life support for the other one just last week.

Arrived now. :)
I fully intend to do one of my new-style real-time reviews of its fiction.

Yep, got mine and reading it in order this time. Great stuff by Mr Volk and Mr Fowler, as usual, read with the the usual head-nodding and humming of agreement from me. James Cooper's story is wonderful, but I shan't say much else until I've read the entire issue (and because I get paranoid about accidental spoilers). Loved it though.

The whole thing looks (and smells) great as well, of course, with Luetke's illustration freaking me out before I've even started McMahon's story. Brilliantly horrid.

Thank you, Roy. Must say it is with a heavy heard I read the "last" Interference by Chris Fowler - you I'm sure the interfering so-and-so will be back gracing the pages at some point in the future, but in any case his pece in #33 is a goodie (maybe because be begins by agreeing with me!). On the plus side, we can look forward to more fiction from him - as well as his upcoming memoir FILM FREAK, which I'm really looking forward to. Au revoir, amigo!

Love his stories. They always feel as if every word has earned it's place. I'm always left with a healthy mix of jealousy and aspiration.
