Details of the new issue are on the Current Issue page in the Black Static section.

It's mailed out already and, in fact, arrived in chilly Norfolk this morning.

Smells good.

Arrived, err...smelled, and read this morning. It's always tough to rank these things, but I think 'The Festering' was my favourite story this issue - smoothly executed stuff as ever from Ray Cluley, with 'Day 12' having an audacious enough scenario to soar into 2nd place.

I too would have 'The Festering' as top of another strong selection this time around just edging out the Bacon story. Also another sublime column from Mr Volk, 'Never use the word 'wind' in a title' may well be my new favourite piece of writing advice.

My only criticism would be that the cover looked like it should be on Interzone.

Arrived in Norfolk on Friday. I do love the cover, although agreed it's possibly more SF than H. Looking forward to the Nina Allan interview.

A broad range of stories in this issue. My favourite was Cluley's "The Festering" followed by Waggoner's "Day 12."

Any feedback on my COFFINMAKER'S BLUES column is always useful. Especially any stray ideas for topics for future ones!

Just arrived in France SE. I hope that Interzone is on its way, not so far!!!!

One thing I can say about the Netherlands dispatch platform is that the issues arrive at home with few or little days late.
It's not like my 2000 AD from direct UK...

So, keep the Netherlands dispatch platform!!!!

Very cool cover and the content makes me to salivate!!!!! Lets read it!!!!

PS: send a rescue team if you do not saw me emerging from the mag!!!

Terry Weyna reviews Black Static 36 at Fantasy Literature.

"These people are not content to give you visceral frights; they want to engage your intellect as well. And that makes them all the more terrifying."

Arrived in the land downunder today, and I immediately read Stephen Volk's column on the porch, which was (as usual) excellent. Looking forward to the rest.
