I've decided to carry on commenting on Black Static stories at my blog, with the aim of eventually discussing all of them.
We started with the ladies, so I'll write about the guys for a month.
Today, "Babyon's Burning" by Daniel Kaysen:-

I remember really enjoying this story. Doesn't he have a collection coming out soon?

At the end of his bio in the magazine, Andy wrote 'Oh, and a book!', and I'm sure I've heard him mention a DK collection elsewhere on these forums, so I think you're right Ross.
But nobody has said anything about 'soon' that I can recall.

Simon showed me The Knitted Child the other year and he read it at Fantasycon. It made quite an impact on me!

And he has a new one titled "Child" just popped up in the Story Acceptances section of the website.

Excellent review of the Rivera story, Pete - that was one that made a lasting impact on me. Like you say, it asks some pretty big questions and doesn't offer easy answers.
