Got my copy and already read it
As usual, can't fault the columns or reviews.
Stories:
The Compartments of Hell - brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed this low life look at the apocalypse. A much better play on it than all those Hollywood movies where only the heroes seem to survive. A blast from start to finish.
Going Home, Ugly Stick In Hand - Not so keen on this. Felt quite insubstantial and underdeveloped.
The Covered Doll - Whilst this was well-written, I thought the ending was signposted so far in advance I guessed it whilst I was reading the Pinborough/Meloy story
The Wounded House - Not a fan of this one, I'm afraid. Flicking through it again, I can't really find anything to recommended about it.
At Night When The Demons Come - another rollicking story bookending the magazine with the Pinborough/Meloy. Superbly realised characters with interesting moral dilemmas. The artwork was terrific, also.
For me, TTA #20 was a mixed bag when it came to the fiction, but the two which really appealed warranted the cover price alone
