I often think that magazines like Interzone, Black Static and it's American counterparts aren't known to the public in General - no s**t I know it's not exactly the revelation of the age.
we all read and love this magazine, but if it weren't for a brief recommendation quote on a book I bought in 2001 I wouldn't know about Interzone - thank the Gods for that book.
I don't know what can be done without shed-loads of advertising cash (which I'm much happier to see used for the content and production values) but I think it's maybe up to the top writers to mention it from time to time - unless they want to be the last of their kind.
This magazine is SO good, I just wish all the potential fans knew.

That would be great. If you do manage to put something on the tube I'll try to set some links to it.
I do try to get publicity for TTA Press books and magazines but we are competeing with many others equally determined to get publicity for their event or book or whatever. Andy and co get flooded with mss's. And the editors I send press releases are drowned in releases from authors, musicians, agents, models etc.

If anyone is interested I've put a small video of Interzone's Covers from 1-195(?) on youtube at the above link, with a link to TTA Press web page in my description...
I put some Elgar as music to the slideshow - think British etc. lol.

Yes I'm going to take the extra pics soon and re-do the video. Just wanted to get something out there.
Just hope it's searchable for people online - that's hoping it'll make people want to check it out lol

YouTube also suggests that I might be interested in Joy Division and The Klaxons. That's uncanny. How does it know?

Great to see fly-by decades of changing designs & masthead logos.
I realise back-page is ad-revenue winner... bit of a shame we can't have more wraparound covers, though.

Well maybe if 1000 readers subbed an extra £0.50 ($0.75) by paypal...

Thanks for the great video shots of the covers and for the great music. Audiovisualising two things I like very gave me an intense aesthetic experience. I've told some friends to look at it.

Hi George,
Thanks, I'm not the most technical guy, but I did want to give Interzone a video on the web - running through the covers is a good way for people to get a visual sense of the Magazine, and for fans of Interzone it's nice to look at it's history too.
I have fond memories of many of those issues.
