There's an extensive feature on Interzone past and present in the latest of Ciaran O’Carroll and Tony Smith's Starship Sofa podcasts.

It's a long and (I think) interesting broadcast: Ciaran and Tony are highly accomplished exponents of daft but insightful blather : they are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and naturally funny commentators. But be warned, in the final segment the bloke they interview about the post-194 era of Interzone sounds a bit like a less articulate version of Kevin Keegan.

A great interview, and now I've got another podcast to add to my list.

That's interesting; thanks for posting the link. Lots of good stuff there, and on the other podcasts... Good to have on while you're supposed to be working! With their infectious humour and their accents they remind me of The Hairy Bikers!

Weird coincidences! Not only have the guys on the podcast just referenced The Hairy Bikers (to describe John Clute!), but they've also just quoted from the interview I did with David Pringle, back at the end of the 90s!
