Has just landed through my letterbox in Carluke, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, spine only slightly bent (usually it's busted so this is a bonus).

Got it here in the US just the other day. Not sure if it arrived on the 22nd or the 24th though. Arrived right after I bought Nina Allan's Spin on Amazon so having to decide which to devote more time to. Looking forward to the next round of TTA Novellas! =D>

I was wondering if you thought Ghost Story was scifi, or fantasy? One could argue that it was a story about a person with a simple mental illness. I didn't see any ghosts in the story. Regardless, I am not writing anything negative toward it, and it was still enjoyable. Ashes hit just about every checkbox for scifi, and has a talking cat ala Saga. 251 Is yet another brilliant book that gives a huge amount of value for the price.(thank you thank you ttapress)


However, you failed to mentioned the most grievous error in this magazine, a travesty that will no doubt haunt the publication for years to come.
I speak, obviously, of Mr. Tony Lee's section Laser Fodder wherein he refers to David Hasselhoff's 'skills' as... professional.

Really, Mr. Lee? Professional? [-X

I would expect higher standards from an established publication such as Interzone... TTAPress really has shamed themselves with this vile slander against the acting profession, and all professions, and the word 'skills', and the letters s-k-i-l-l, and Laser Fodder. And fodder in general. And lasers. And all of mankind. And all of existence. Especially existing lasers.

Or something. #-o

Despite its title, I didn't think it was a ghost story, but it was fantasy. We are talking about the world resetting itself. I don't want to say more because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it.

IZ251 arrived safely (and in perfect condition) down here in my damp and windy corner of SW France yesterday.

No sign of BS 39 yet though - perhaps it's scared of the wind and rain we've been having.

Have to say that I really liked the Richard Wagner artwork on page 59 - a great photoreal robot image... but the title page of two-tone reds (titles should be in high contrast colours, I think) gives me squinty eyestrain and I can't read the biog note at all.
