The Nov-Dec issue is at press and should mail out some time next week.

There are two novelettes: Moon Drome by Jon Wallace (Jon has just secured a three-book deal with Gollancz) and Mirrorblink by Jason Sanford. Short stories are by Chen Qiufan (translated by Ken Liu), Priya Sharma, and Caroline M. Yachim. Colour illustrations are by Richard Wagner, Warwick Fraser-Coombe, and Martin Hanford.

Cover art is Ben Baldwin's sixth and final Tarot card, The Star. There'll be an interview with Ben, conducted by Ray Cluley, on the website soon.

Contents, images, and extracts will appear in the Current Issue section in a day or two.

Please could current subscribers check for a subscription reminder in issue 242 and renew promptly, preferably before the new issue mails out. Thanks!

We hope you enjoy IZ243 and look forward to reading your comments here.

And that's Interzone in Edinburgh today, one day after Black Static. Looks fabulous. Some gorgeous artwork. I really love Warwick Fraser-Coombe's work on Jason Sanford's story.

Arrived today in sunny SW France - fortunately, it didn't arrive yesterday, or I would have had to admit that we have grey damp days here too

Black Static & Crimewave (took out a sub when I renewed BS) arrived at the same time.

IZ 243 arrived in Uppsala two days ago. I like the new, handy, format. The art work os lovely and I am especially looking forward to reading Jason Sanford's story. I like the feel of the thick paper pages.

Interzone #243 is now an E book/magazine on Amazon.com Kindle but not on Amazon.co.uk. Hopefully it will be soon and will allow you to 'look.
inside'. If you want another format the Smashwords is the only choice now but they will be on iTunes in 2 or 3 weeks, though Xmas or new year may delay that.

Bit slow with my reading but did make Priya Sharma's a priority and loved it. (If only it could have gone on for longer - any plans for a TTA novella...?)
