There it was a small black and white ad on page 64 of IZ 212 and now, less than two months later, the subject of that ad, Colin Harvey's fantasy novel "The Silk Palace" in its e-version, has reached the top five on the Fictionwise e book chart for the first week of November, outselling Pratchett & Rowling!
"... it's way, way beyond our expectations." Colin Harvey author of The Silk Palace

I can't wait to see what will happen if Andy gets the colour back in the interiors! Maybe the New York Times? <g>

I thought this was an appropriate ready-made thread title to confirm that 'Facial Justice' (1960) by LP Hartley has the tower of Ely Cathedral on a bleak plain as the last remnant of civilisation after an SF apocalyptic event. TTA Press's Head Office is in the Ely area, I believe. The Power of Interzone, indeed.

Even better, I now realise, if the thread had been called The Tower of Interzone!

The actual passage from 'Facial Justice' is quoted here:

My take on the rarely read SF Novel FACIAL JUSTICE by L.P. Hartley, having just completed it:
