New formula of Black Static well received today in France, but no signs of Interzone...

If a perp is playing with my copy, he will eat an Hi-Ex from my Lawgiver MkII. Drokk.

Control. Prepare a meat-wagon.

Strangely, down here in the SW corner, it's the reverse - Interzone arrived today, still waiting for Black Static. Maybe tomorrow.

Another review of IZ 241 from Anthony G Williams. It's a repeat from his blog.

IZ 241 arrived in Uppsala last Friday. I opened the cover and was treated to a beautiful front page.

Really enjoyed this issue.. some great stories!!
I hadn't heard of James White before reading about the competition, which is a little embarrassing with me being Irish.. But at least now I can add another writer to my reading list.. :D

I always loved his Sector General series - I'd buy them the second I saw them, and start reading them the same day.

Just uploaded Interzone 241 to Smashwords and now you can download. Stories from Sean McMullen and Aliette de Bodard and 3 others plus Nick Lowe's verdict on Prometheus; what's not to like?
The Fictionwise version has been uploaded but won't go 'live' until the 18th or 25th.
Amazon next and then Black Static 29.
Smashwords took up the cover but then said "We don't support the type of file you uploaded, a 'application/octet-stream' " and set its 'premium status' to not good enough ('needs modification') so this issue won't be available from iTunes unless something changes. I did the usual and it's always worked b4.
There are internal hyperlinks in the reviews section. Are they a worthwhile improvement? Let us know, it's a lot of work for no gain otherwise.
