Copies of Interzone 224 were not sent to certain wholesalers straight away as they normally are. The problem would've been spotted very quickly if the guy who did the spotting wasn't on holiday. Consequently the issue can't yet be found in some shops. We're assured that these copies are now on their way to wholesale and will be in store early next week.

If you've been looking for the issue, please keep looking! Sorry about the delay.

I hope this doesn't cost us too many sales...

Iz 224 in M&M at Macc yesterday.

5 left issues on the Films and Entertainment magazine rack at the Peel Centre Borders, Stockport when I looked today. No Black Statics but Realms of Fantasy (Aug 09) & F&SF's 60th anniversary issue were there; as were Fangoria and Rue Morgue.

Also a whole raft of Dr Who; Sarah Jane Smith mags.

That's bad isn't it, and worrying, that those copies have only just arrived in shops. Other sources have told me that it took three weeks for issue 223 to get into shops. Having announced the publication of an issue and an "on-sale date" (and we always publish on time, proud of that) you'd think that the first three weeks is when you'd sell most copies. People might give up after that, especially if they have to make a journey.

They may have been in Borders for 3 weeks. I don't go to Stockport very often.

They might. I meant only the late copies such as those that've only just turned up in your local shop Roy, those supplied by our main distributor. Borders are supplied by Central Books.
