Saw this a couple of days ago: at last, a good sfnal movie that didn't either bore me or infuriate me with its ineptitude of thought!
I let my suspension of disbelief carry me floating along nicely on the character-led decently acted stories of the people that made me actually care enough about them as people to enable me to stay involved with the plot... and if I was slightly troubled once or twice with doubts (& what time travel story passes off without an awkward wrinkle appearing in the fabric occasionally?) I was able to return to the flicker of the story's tail with the alacrity of a cat redirecting his attention from the momentarily distracting arm that wields the string, back to the flicking feather at the end of the string....
So I enjoyed it... a relief, after Prometheus and Total Recall have left me feeling beyond jaded so far this year, to come away from the cinema feeling light of heart! (and not just of purse, baboom, chssss).
