All in all, I think Joel. Anyone who can bring the topic of "constitutional monarchy" to the BB house deserves it!

Constitutional monarchy AND Abba AND slut dropping - sheer genius!

On the other hand, there is stubbornly honest Jack, tormented and teased, unappealing in some ways but possessed of an iconic dressing gown.
Oh, dear - I like to have a clear candidate for the win in mind but I swither and swither...

Chloe doesn't know why she won either.
I thought Joel looked disappointed.
Nick will be happy becausd Harry attacked him and commenced eating him alive when he came out. Danny's interview was awful -'um - amazing - um I dunno like - amazing'
The only happy HM was Jack.
Ah well, CBB looms.

CBB Launch Night

There was quite an introduction to the show tonight - Land of Hope and Glory and 4 likely looking Guardsmen. Downtown Abbey backdrop in the garden; also a New York skyscraper scene; and a 1850s American diner for a kitchen - James Dean might appear at any moment. If only the HMs can live up to the fanfares and general brouhaha...

For the UK, Sherrie Houston stepped forward. Star of Corrie, Benidorm and of course Loose Woman. No CBB is complete without a loose women. However, this Loose Woman is not going to strip off and will not tlerate dodgy goings on in the bedroom. Makes a change...
She has a nice warm chuckle.

Next British contestant was Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten fame. She has a fear of mushrooms and doesn't like mess and untidiness or Ra-Ra Americans.

Gail Porter, formerly of the Big Breakfast and famous for having her bottom projected on to the Houses of Parliament (you don't get much more British than that) is Scottish. She suffers from alopecia and is now completely bald.
Brave girl not disguising it. She also dislikes untdiness and mess.

The first male contestant for the UK was Chris Ellison, DC Burnside of The Bill that is, who likes ironing and croswords, and hates prattling American women who don't know Paris is in France.

Two X factor rejects, now engaged and counted as one contestant for the UK, were Stevie Ritchie and Chloe-Jasmine. He was rather coarse and thought he was funny. She looked like a giant Barbie doll in a Union Jack prom dress.

James Hll, ex -Apprentice star, came next. I treasure the memory of James organising a seaside singsong on a busload of tourists on a Tudor bus trip. he was hilariously unaware of how wrong he'd got his tourists.
Tonight, he was hilatiously unaware that his trousers were too tight - honestly, my heart was in my mouth as thery strained when he was goig upstairs.

The USA team made more of a splash, very full on and boastful with huge blazing smiles and too much attitude:

First up was Phatman Scoop, a singer, who insisted that you could hear him in clubs all over the world. He is loud, fat, eats a lot, and might block the toilet.
Let's not go there...

Next was Austin Somebody- or- other, star of a reality show called 'The A List', married to a Yorkshireman, and something of a name dropper (he likes us to know that he knows people we've heard of even if we have never heard of him). Also the first contestant to mention masturbation. he sort of asked BB for permission.
Don't worry, dear - BB loves it when contestants do smutty things.

Jenna Jamieson, the most famous porn star in the world at one time, was up next. She claims to be smart, angry and crazy. She is also adorned with the most hideous highly coloured tattoos.

Farrah Abrahams came next, trailing a glittering dress made out of the Stars and Stripes. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough material to cover her bosoms. She's a US reality tv star who claims to be an entrepreneur. She's had lots and lots of plastic surgery(it shows) and insists she alays gets what she wants and will make everyone miserable till she gets it.

Tiny Tila Tequila arrived talking tough and bragging that she invented Facebook, Instagam, and Selfies. She also claims to have multiple personalities, being by turn an old man, Caroline form Oxford, a born again virgin, and Jane who is trouble.
Crazy.

And last but not least was Daniel Baldwin, one of THE Baldwins, a writer, actor, and director, as well as a former cocaine addict.

It has to be said - the Amercan women were a hard faced looking bunch, ready to take on the world in the nastest way.

The first task was to fire a canon and knock the heads off cardboard cutouts of the celebrities. The UK team won and had the honour of flying the Union Jack over the house and of having a party in their honour. Of course BB being BB, three of the Amercans were not to be invited to the party but clapped in the Tower instead. Natasha was very quick to not invite Farrah, the reason being she was a sore loser. I think the other uninviteds were Scoop and Daniel.

Let the games commence!

Dear This Thread watchers, for various reasons, I'm afraid I am giving this CBB a miss. Hope you enjoy it. But I'll come roaring back in 2016.

When the Cat's away, this mouse will play! See you soon, Des. x

Conversating

During the launch night recap,I noticed what I missed last night, which was James's instant recognition of Jenna the Porn Queen. Who's a naughty boy then?

But James is not as naughty as Austin. He's one of those gleefully malicious gossips who cannot wait to dish the dirt. He'd only known Natasha for two minutes but confided in salacious detail every moment of a sex tape Farrah had made and leaked to the media. He also constantly refers to women as 'bitches'. Am not warming to him. His visit to the DR was as unpleasant an experience for viewers as I have seen on there. The target of his malice was again Farrah -he relished naming her body parts, took the moral high ground by being disgusted by her behaviour, and then dwelled lovingly on how awful she'd look in the morning without all her glam on - the false eyelashes peeling off , her hair extensions unglued etc
I suppose he thinks he's being witty but his wit is no laughing matter.
Farrah made the mistake of upstaging him on launch night.

Farrah, Scoop and Daniel were sent to the Tower, Scoop grumbling that the black guy always gets the jailtime, and Farrah blaming Natasha for her incarceration; she was tempted to throw a lass from the balcony of the Tower, r perhaps spi down at Natasha whose immaturity needs curbing. There followed a Balcony scene worthy of Shakespeare when Natasha left the party to come and make peace with Farrah. This led to insults beig traded.
Natasha: oh, Farrah, Farrah, wherefore art thou Farrah?
Farrah:a sugarmuffin by any other name would taste as sweet, Natasha.
Venomous, they were truly venomous.

Is it really possible for two strangers to be that aggavated by one another in such a short time?
I don't think so. I smell reality tv star's attention grabbing.

Jenna very firmly ticked off Tila for something she'd said about Jenna on her website. She actually made Tyla squirm, all five of her. Jenna also dealt firmly with James who sat gazing at her witheyes like carriage lamps as he questioned her about her porn life. James was at pains to let her know that he's terribly open minded about fetishes and such like. Jenna was polite but bored.
Jenna is actually coming across quite well (technicolour tattoos aside): in the DR, she gave a measured and dispassionate review of her fellow HMs. In summary, she said that the weakest HMs were the noisy and stroppy becuse they didn't know how to win.
She also said she loved 'conversating' with the others. I rather liked that.

In the bedroom, James headed to the bathroom to change but Tila pulled him up for it - they were like brother and sister in the house, she said. James, to his eternal credit, said he wouldn't strip off in front of his sister either. Then spoiled it by accusing Americans of possibly commiting incest. Cheap remark. But at that moment, Austin appeared out of nowhere in the teensiest swimming briefs I've ever seen. Even Tila was satisfied as he posed and preened for the cameras. James joined him (still wearing his trousers though) and preened and posed alongside him. Tila made several very coarse remarks, including a promise to 'turn' Austin, then dropped to her knees in front of them. The men stepped hurriedly back.

In the kitchen, Austin, still posing in his bikini bottoms, proceeded to tell Farrah what his first impression of her had been on her TV prorame. Guess what it was? Begins with B and ends with H. He told her all the reasons why then added a little gabbled postscript - an apology because he now knew he had been wrong about her
Sly way to dish out your malice, I'd say.

Natasha was quite funny in the DR - she pointed out James's vanity by recalling that when he said hello to her he kept staring at himself in the mirror.
The surprise was that James could get near the mirror before Austin.

The big event of the evening was the belated arrival of Bobby Davro and Janice Dickenson who were to compete for the premiership of the house. It all fell a bit flat, the competition being composed of a remarkable silly quizz and a dressing up game. Bobby won so he;ll be running the house.

Tila has been removed from the house for reasons unspecified. However, it turns out she has posted unfortunate things on facebook and twitter - an utterly tasteless one involved Auschwitz. I shant bother posting it.

What is more interesting, and what Des would have enjoyed, was an expose of the mysteries of the Illumimati in Hollywood. She should have known better - Des and I have noted before that Ihe Illuminati have presence and power in Boreham Wood.

I think tonight was noteable for the absence of British contestants. The Americans have successfully stolen the show.
