No sound on my puter, but oh yes, that does look like fun. And Penelope Cruz seems much more the part of female lead in a pirate movie than Keira Knightley ever did, while the absence of Mr Bloom is a distinct improvement (sorry Jo and Ali).

Makes me want to read the book again.

You're right, it's not a prequel. I'm sure I heard at one time that it was, to account for the young Jack character from Powers' book, but if so that got jettisoned, even though I appear to have clung on to the idea :lol:
