Tonight - "Donkey Punch" on C4 at 11.40, followed by "The Black Dahlia" at 1.35, which though not horror might be of interest (I caught it at the cinema, and don't recall being particularly impressed).

Sunday the 20th - "An American Haunting" on C5 at 11.05 and "To Let" (Spanish film) on BBC2 at 3.30.

Monday the 21st - "The Baby's Room" on BBC2 at 1.50 (another Spanish offering).

Thursday the 24th - "Slither" on C4 at !2.10.

BBC1 have got a couple of new adaptations in the works. There's "The Day of The Triffids" two parter over the nights of Monday the 28th and Tuesday the 29th, 9.00 till 10.30, and on Wednesday the 30th there's "The Turn of The Screw" from 9.00 till 10.30 - updated to a post-war UK, so don't say you weren't warned.

Hey, I need an emoticon for that one. Are you being serious or ironic?

The Day of the Triffids seriously freaked me out when I was a kid, I wonder if this one will do the same.

Very few things do any more despite the fact that the tech has gotten so much better. Back in the days of visible zips, and crappy fx, our suspension of disbelief was shatter-proof, but now, where everything is seamless, we know that its not real.

Still looks great though

I absolutely agree and I've said this before myself. Even if you know the hero is being chased by a man in a monkey suit the fear is there because in theory you know he could be caught. If he's running from a CGI monster you know he never can be caught.

Yep DOTT sounds great.

Neil Gaiman has written and produced a short film - called 10 minute tales - on Sky One on Xmas Day, 10pm.
