Anyone else seen the pilot? Looks very promising. Also Stargate Universe (the first episode) is superb and well worth checkin out.

Haven't seen Caprica yet, but it's on my to watch list- especially after seeing The Plan.

As for SGU, I've been watching it religiously (absolutely love it), and even started a thread on it :P

Ok you caught me, I'm a lazy bugger :p the plan was excellent but I would have liked to have seen it taken further.

Caprica is a different format altogether, it seems to be more of a drama. It take you back to the creation of the first cylon, with a background of family problems, rascism, mafia and religion. The colonies are all seperate, no connecting government.

only problem I see with it is that the period of time between cap and bsg is too short for things to have played out as they did.

I will be interested to see how Caprica plays out, to be honest. Will they be rolling out original BSG cylons? Or will it be a Star Trek XI situation, where the past looks a lot shinier than we remembered?

As for the Plan, I thought the highlight was the attack on the colonies at the beginning. But I wish it had gone a bit further, and maybe explained the motivations behind the occupation of New Caprica, which I've always felt was poorly justified.

SGU - great cliffhanger ending to the series...

Caprica - visually very impressive....struggling to see how it will find an audience outside of diehard BSG fans as yet

And 'The Plan'....you know, I will watch absolutely anything with a BSG sticker on it...but come on...an hour and a half of scenes from previous series and about 15 mins of new material?
What's next? A feature length retelling from the Romo Lampkin character pov?

Actually...I'd probably watch that.....

Actually, the cliffhanger is only the end of the first part of the series of SGU. It continues after Christmas, I think.

Though the cliffhanger itself was fantastic :D

Yeah, I got that it was one of these US 'half way through' cliffhangers....but is there a specific date for the rest of the series yet?

Most of the other episodes are still listed as TBA, but wikipedia has the next episode as airing in the US on 2nd April 2010. Presuming they stay with the same scheduling as they have for the first half, it should be a few days later in the UK. Looks like quite a wait though... :(
