Trailer here:-

UK release in December.

Makes me think of "The Never Ending Story", as directed by Rob Zombie. And yes, that is bizarre, and I can't really explain

Brilliant! And they've kept it real instead of CGI. Well, by real I mean people dressed up, surely...

I never read the book, but that does look really good. Love the music.

Music sounds like Arcade Fire to me - an excellent band - it sounds familiar so it might be on one of their existing albums, been a while since I listened.

I love the book and have introduced many parents of young children to it :) But I'm not entirely sure how they managed to make a movie out of it. The story (although it arguably contains all the emotional stuff included in the youTube messages) is only ten or so single sentences, one to a double page. Not that that'll put me off going to see it :D

I, too, own the book and just recently introduced my son to it.

This movie was magical and beautiful; I wouldn't be surprised if there's a nod come Oscar time. I can't recommend it enough. A great date movie. Believe it or not, it'll cater more to adults than young children, especially if you're the kind of person who still believes in fairy tales.

Go see this.

Good call, it's their song 'Wake Up' - I'm definitely going to bag a copy.

Cheers,
Ali
