Trailer here:-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSVmrqAMQZA

Release date in the UK is 11/12/09.

I have no sound on my computer, but my first impression from the trailer was that it might be a romantic comedy :?

I actually have hopes for this remake over the original ONLY because Dylan Walsh from Nip & Tuck is in it. It's as if they got the casting spot on.

Who'd have thought THE HILLS HAVE EYES remake would have been better than the cult classic. Intense and dramatic.

If this a remake of what I think it's a remake of, then there's no way it can compare with the originally; especially with the brilliant Terry O'Quinn's spectacularly unhinged lead performance.

Just checked on imdb Dan, and you're right that it's a remake of what you think it's a remake of.

Oh dear...did I say that? I need to do a remake. On second thoughts, maybe not - it'll be vastly inferior to the originally.

Yes, the 1980s film was great - a gripping thriller... and I remember that its two sequels were not too bad, either.
