Well, I never got a confirmation email, unless it wound up in the spam folder, but I have found this. So, once again: wooooooooo. Unless that page is a month old.

...and Lee Kelly has edged my attempt for shortest title in the book by one letter.

This cannot go unpunished...

Don't panic ...Wild Wolf are simply waiting for Tony Burgess' entry, and then they'll send confirmations out. There is actually a big release 'event' being planned for the 4th of June in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne if you're interested in attending?

Had my confirmation email today from Sam Dennison of Wild Wolf stating I'm in the antho and:
Quote:
We hope to have a release date of either late May-early June.
We have 38 short stories plus an exclusive screenplay extract from Tony Burgess' sequel to Pontypool. The page count is near a whopping 600 pages.

Got that confirmation email.

Getting to Newcastle, however, may prove extremely difficult. It seems to take around 2.5 hours, regardless of what transport I use - car? 2.5 hours. Train? 2.5 hours. Walking? 2.5 hours. Teleportation? 2.5 hours...

Yep, Newcastle is a long trip, about 7hrs for me by road and I'm definitely not going to use my teleporter again, not after the last mishap I had with it.... bzzzzzt...

It would be very cool if you could vote for Holiday of the Dead in the anthology section of the This Is Horror 'best of 2011 competition.' It's fab to have our (not so) little anthology nominated alongside people such as David Moody and Stephen King, who are in the novels section.

If you want to vote for Holiday of the Dead, email Michael@ThisIsHorror.co.uk and tell them. Thanks,

Yes :)
Please vote for Holiday of the Dead, I'd love to have a story in something that won an award!
