Joe Hill is doing a talk and signing at Waterstones Basingstoke on Monday 15th March 2010. He's also doing a whole load of other places across the midlands and the north over next week. Details are on the Waterstones website.

As a follow up, the Basingstoke event is cancelled, but Joe is appearing at:

Waterstones Birmingham High Street, Tuesday 16th March 2010, at 6:00pm

Waterstones Liverpool, Wednesday 17th March 2010, at 12:30pm

Waterstones Manchester Deansgate, Wednesday 16th March 2010, at 7:00pm

Waterstones Leeds, Thursday 18th March 2010, at 1:00pm

Waterstones Nottingham Bridle, Thursday 18th March 2010 6:30pm

Forbidden Planet London, Saturday 20th March 2010, 1:00pm

The Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham events are ticketed, but include talks as well as signings. Details can be found on the Waterstones website (except for the Forbidden Planet event, for which you can find details on the FP website).

Brilliant Matt. I tried to find details on the Waterstones website for a White Noise item, but it looked a mess and I give up easy

I'll now link back to you on here.

Facebook tells me FORBIDDEN PLANET and Gollancz Publishing are hosting an open-format, multi-author signing. Five authors, one event – at 6pm on Thursday May 13th, Forbidden Planet 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London will be playing host to Interzone discovery John Meaney along with Stephen Deas - M D Lachlan - Sarah Pinborough - and Adam Roberts

Quote:
Forbidden Planet and Gollancz Publishing have gathered a host of science fiction and fantasy talent into one event – an event to bring writers and fans together and to promote interest in new and different kinds of fiction.

This is a free-form and open signing, bringing the authors out from behind their tables and giving their readers a chance to meet them and talk to them about their work. An array of fantastic books will be on hand to be picked up and signed – including works by every one of the writers present.

This one is in Macclesfield's Waterstones so I thought it worth posting but I don't know the author, well I don't think I do.
10 June 7 pm Waterstones, Mill St, Macclesfield
Tel. 01625 424212 as you are requested to book though attendance is free.
“The Edge of Doom” by Elizabeth Horrocks is published by Pegasus Elliot MacKenzie of Cambridge at £9.99.

Jeff Lindsay (author of the Dexter novels) is doing two appearances at Waterstones in July.

The first is at Milton Keynes, on 20th July, and the second is at Glasgow, on 21st July. There's a £3 charge for tickets, which is redeemable against his new book.

Just in case it's of interest to anyone
