From the email I received:-

To mark the William Golding centenary, Faber and Faber invites you to an exclusive afternoon event at its exhibition space in Bloomsbury. Join Judy Golding, John Carey and Penelope Lively for an intimate in-conversation looking at one of the most influential authors of our time. John Gray, author of Straw Dogs, and Benjamin Markovits, author of Childish Loves, will discuss Golding's most iconic novel, Lord of the Flies, exploring its enduring appeal and global success. The afternoon will be chaired by the Guardian's literary editor, Claire Armitstead.
Forming the backdrop of these discussions will be a curated selection of never-before-seen Golding items from the Faber archive, presented by the Faber Archvist, Robert Brown.
The event will be followed by wine, refreshments and conversation!
