NOTE: I saw general discussion and was not sure if this was the proper place to put this, or if any writers from Europe and the UK are visiting New York City this summer... So please forgive me in advance...

However, visiting authors from the UK might be interested in also obtaining their own booth at affordable prices...

If any of you are in the Coney Island, Brooklyn area this summer, I'll have my own booth. I'll be selling rare genre books, copies of magazines and pulps, and signings of my latest collection FRESH BLOOD: Tales From The Speculative Graveyard (Sam's Dot Publishing, 2009).

Blog details (with links): ... -signings/

At the moment, I will be signing last weekend of June (standard booth 8' x 10'), and then every other week throughout most of July and early August at this point (if I have any miscellaneous dates, I'll let you know). I'm trying to get off-peak times, too, as we speak.

This year alone Coney Island's new DREAMLAND (formerly Astroland Park) will have literally thousands of tourists walking around, free summer concerts --- last year I got to see Huey Lewis & The News, and one other year they had Scissor Sisters --- and a grand total of 5 million people having visited the area by season's end. All booths are very affordable for this recession, too.

You will find a variety of arts & craft sellers, photography and art sellers, book sellers, jewelry merchants, foods, and MORE. Plus, fun for the kiddies and whole family such as the amusement rides, Nathan's hotdogs, The Brooklyn Aquarium, Deno's Wonder Wheel, The World Famous Cyclone, and of course, the beach.

Thank you again.

Lawrence R. Dagstine

P.S.: If TTA Press, or any of the other fine British authors who frequent here have any fliers or cards or promotional materials, I'd be HONORED to hand them out to prospective buyers. Just PM me.
