The final issue looks great, and a freebie too!

Have started with the non-fic - Blue Pootle always makes me smile - but looking forward to reading the rest.

All the best to everybody involved :D

Ali

Mine arrived today - it's great to see Mike Gallagher in print, and it's a fine story too. Now to read the rest of it.

And I got Lisa Granville's 'Whispers in the Dark' for my freebie. Result!

Have they all been sent?

If so, ignored, I am

Unless my subscription ran out - did we produce enough to satisfy any yearly subscriptions?

Dunno Steve. They have all been sent, but in two waves. I only got mine yesterday, so yours could still be in the post I guess.

I'll query with D.

D is an angel. She has a halo and little cherub wings, and when she gets to strumming her harp Jimmy Page turns green with envy

I've now read the magazine, and mostly enjoyed the mix of stories (10 in all). Enjoyed the editorial, which was more a potted history of W-0-W, than anything else. Steve Redwod's 'Zompire' tale was quite amusing, even if some of the jokes about incest and necrophilia make you wince. Glamour Girl worked well, having an impact (although the final revelation wasn't too much of a surprise) by holding back on the more erotic elements of the story.
The 7th Chamber was well-written, but it was only ever going to end one way. Glimpsed Between the Trees is quite good, although I'm sure I've read a very similar story somewhere else. Favourite story? Lee Moan's The Devil's Bone's, which favours atmosphere over a more explicit approach to horror. Another good story was The Pumpkin Man's Return, which is slow-burning, but quite effective.
All in all, a god way to bring down the curtain on Whispers 0f Wickedness.

We used to sell it through the website, and D had a paypal account linked to her d@ookami.co.uk address but presumably that no longer works. I've asked her what she wants to do about sales, but as yet haven't had a reply.

My copy arrived today, Pete, so thanks for chasing that up for me (and thanks to D if she's here at all)...
